Austria’s commercial airports handled more than 31.7 million passengers in 2018, comprising a new all-time high. This comprises
passenger growth of 9.6% compared with 2017. The number of flight movements in 2018 was up to 296,867 starts and landings.
Cargo volume also developed positively, rising 3.3% from the previous year to 224,719 tonnes in 2018.
GRAZ AIRPORT
Graz Airport is located south of Graz, about nine kilometres from the city center. The airport’s catchment area does not only
encompass the province of Styria, but also extends to Southern Burgenland, parts of Carinthia and Northeast Slovenia. The
airport is situated in the heart of a strong economic and tourism region with many internationally operating companies. It
offers its passengers a wide range of scheduled flights to several large transfer airports such as Frankfurt, Vienna, Munich,
Istanbul, Zurich and Amsterdam as well as important German business centres. There is also a large selection of holiday flights

INNSBRUCK AIRPORT
Innsbruck Airport is located in the heart of the Alps and has proven to be THE ideal “Gateway to Tyrol” for our international
guests. This is because the most important Tyrolean and South Tyrolean winter sports and holiday regions are easily accessible
from Innsbruck within only ONE hour. With 1.1 million passengers per year, Innsbruck Airport is Austria’s third largest airport
and is served by 50 international airlines, which gives it an indispensable role as a flight hub with a major significance
for tourism, economy and transportation.

KLAGENFURT AIRPORT
Thanks to its location, Austria’s southernmost regional airport plays an important role as a strategic infrastructure facility
in the Federal Province of Carinthia as well as to the Alps-Adriatic Region. The airport of short distances and personal service
considers itself to be an important partner of the regional economy and industry, especially tourism.
Although it is the smallest of Austria's commercial airports, Klagenfurt Airport is linked to the most important air transport
hubs, featuring several daily flight connections to the flight hub Vienna Airport and non-stop flight connections to Germany,
Great Britain and the Netherlands, as well as seasonal charter flights. The airport itself employs about 65 people, whereas
some 500 people are employed in the immediate surroundings.
Klagenfurt Airport (KLU)
LINZ AIRPORT
Linz Airport is modern, comfortable and stands out due to its diverse flight offering. About 150 destinations across the globe
can be reached each day via the major flight hubs of Frankfurt and Düsseldorf. With respect to vacation travel, 27 weekly
flights are offered to the most popular Mediterranean destinations. In 2018 about 460,000 passengers used Linz Airport for
their holiday or business trip. The central location of the airport in one of Europe’s strongest export regions has helped
turn Linz Airport into the biggest regional cargo airport in Austria. Some 53,000 tonnes of freight are handled at Linz Airport
each year. At the same time, the airport is also an important employer in the region. The operating company Flughafen Linz
GesmbH has a staff of 150 employees and offers secure and future-oriented jobs to about 1,000 people at 80 companies based
at the airport.

SALZBURG AIRPORT
Salzburg Airport – the gateway to the heart of Western Austria - is the place where a journey ends or the adventure begins

Province of Salzburg.

VIENNA AIRPORT
Vienna Airport handled more than 27 million passengers in the year 2018. 74 airlines serve 205 destinations in 71 countries
from Vienna. The airport is the leading flight hub in Central and Eastern Europe, featuring numerous destinations in this
region. The airport operating company Flughafen Wien AG alone has about 6,000 employees. On balance, more than 22,500 people
work in more than 250 companies at Vienna Airport. Flughafen Wien AG also has an equity stake in Malta Airport and Kosice
Airport, and is also the operator of the Bad Vöslau airfield.
