The Austrian Airports Association

The Austrian Airports Association (Working Group of Austrian Commercial Airports or AÖV) is the interest group representing the regional airports in Austria. The members of the association are the commercial airports of Graz, Innsbruck, Klagenfurt, Linz, Salzburg and Vienna.

In 2018, Austria’s commercial airports handled more than 31.7 million passengers, comprising a new all-time high with a passenger growth of 9.6% compared to 2017. The number of flight movements in 2018 adds up to 296,867 starts and landings. Also the Cargo volume developed positively, rising by 3.3% from the previous year to 224,719 tons in 2018.

The AOEV’s objective is to promote cross-company cooperation among Austria’s commercial airports and to represent their common interests to the general public, public authorities, relevant decision makers for the aviation industry and other interest groups.
